‡ A Quarter of Century ‡

So, it's 24 May once again.

This year, my age hits the same number of a quarter of century. Oh yes, people, I'm officially 25.

Quick recap of what happened in the past few years on my birthday:

2013: you can read the detail here.

2014: got a new family member named Luna, a lovely Shihtzu -- can also be considered as a birthday present from Matthew. I bought two books for myself as my own birthday presents.

2015: finally received a proper birthday surprise from my friends at Central Park and, yes, at HKC, one of my most favorite restaurants there. A day before 24 May, I traveled alone to Kebun Binatang Ragunan, Jakarta Cathedral, and Es Krim Ragusa.

And, this year, I spent my birthday at Cikarang -- I'm currently working on a project here with my team. Possibly until July. (And, oh, my partners here have been very kind to me on my birthday!)

Anyway, two days ago, on 22 May 2016 to be exact, I decided to have a little change on myself. Actually I had been considering it for at least a year but I always had reasons to procrastinate... until this year.

As you have read above, I often bought books for myself. Last year I did something different by traveling alone, enjoying my solitude. This year, it's a little bit different.

Ever heard of ombre hair? No? Yes?

Well, I have a green ombre hair color now!

Yes, that's my real hair. I have a maroon ombre hair clip but, no, that picture above is me and my real hair. Yes, green-haired girl here. HA!

It should be blue, in case you're wondering if my favorite color is green or not. As some of you probably have known, to color your hair, you should go through a process called "bleaching", which means you need to 'wash' your original hair color -- in my case: black.

The lighter hair color you want, the more bleaching you (probably) need to do so your hair can live up the color. As for my case, the blackness of my hair is somewhat too strong and I have turquoise color as my hair color.

Not that I complaint though because, I think, as a starter of such a change for myself, this color is perfect!

A bunch of love and thanks to Jessica Faith (IG: @jfhairstudio) for the magic! I spent half of my Sunday with her and it's such a lovely visit! I can make sure that I will definitely return there again in the future!

I'm not going to write a long post but here we go.

Thanks God for all the blessings You've been generously given to me.
Thanks to all my friends for the birthday wishes; may only the best be with you too.
Thanks to my family and my best friends -- for all the special birthday greetings you've sent to me (text messages, voice messages, phone calls).

A quarter of century. I'm ready to live it to the fullest. :)
